What is a Custodian?
A custodian is a specialized financial institution (typically, a regulated entity with granted authority like a bank) that holds customers’ securities for safekeeping to minimize the risk of their misappropriation, misuse, theft, and/or loss.

A custodian has three primary responsibilities:

Additional Safeguards to Protect Your Investments:
NBIN provides a statement for any month in which there is activity in your account. If your account has no monthly activity, at a minimum a quarterly statement will be sent to you, through our online access. A paper-delivered statement is available for a small fee.
